Palo Duro Canyon

Bernice Blasingame has several dates for programs with school kids
in Palo Duro Canyon and needs help.
These programs usually start between 9:30 and 10:00 and end around 1pm.
There will be 50+ kids on each date and 3-4 PCTMN Volunteers would be very helpful.

April 8th and 9th - 5th graders from Greenways School - Topic to be determined

April 13th - 5th graders (72) from Tulia - Topic to be determined

April 28th - 1st graders (88) from Gene Howe School - Topic to be determined

May 4th and 5th - 5th graders - Topic: What's Growing Here? (Students come with a booklet supplied by Bernice and identify the plants on a nature hike). Blast From The Past (Plants used by the indians for food and medicine are identified during a nature hike).

May 12th - 4th graders from Reeves-Hinger School - Hiking with topics undetermined

May 19th - 4th graders - Topic: Blast from the Past
