Wildcat Bluff
Rhoda and Jeremiah (from Wildcat Bluff), have asked for our help to remove the cattails from the pond at Wild Cat Bluff.

Rhoda and Jeremiah have researched how to control the growth of the cattails. Instead of digging them up, we are going to be clipping the cattails several inches below the waterline of the pond. This is supposed to inhibit their growth next year.

Those intrestsed in this project it is slated for:

Saturday, July 31st at 9:00 am and the pond is just behind the main buildings at Wildcat Bluff.

Wildcat Bluff always needs volunteers.
They have summer camps for kids coming up with some great topics and have groups coming all the time that need an extra hand to do a nature hike or program. If you are not a kid person, talk to a member of the Wildcat Bluff staff.
They need help with many things that do not directly involve working with kids and meet TMN requirements for volunteer hours.
